Project Overview

Overview

Sello was shaped as a lightweight cloud-based seller OS for Indonesian marketplace operators who need pricing, inventory, purchasing, finance, budgets, and reports in one web app instead of scattered spreadsheets and manual notes.

Problem

The field workflow gap

Online sellers often calculate marketplace prices separately from inventory and finance records. That split makes it harder to understand profit, stock risk, supplier debt, purchasing needs, and cash movement from one reliable workspace.

Role

What I handled

I defined the product direction, designed the app structure, wrote the interface copy, built the responsive web app, and connected multi-user seller workflows with Supabase, PostgreSQL, Row Level Security, and transactional backend logic.

Solution

A focused seller operating system

Sello combines a pricing calculator, product inventory, supplier and purchase workflows, QR-based stock activity, finance tracking, budgets, and reports inside a responsive sidebar-based app shell.

Budget planning and seller reports

Design Approach

Mobile-first operational clarity

The design favors dense but calm operational screens: clear tables, compact cards, persistent navigation, plain Indonesian workflow copy, and responsive layouts that keep desktop planning and mobile stock tasks usable.

Design Decisions

Why the interface is structured this way

01

Sidebar-first navigation

Core seller modules stay visible so users can move between pricing, products, finance, and reports without losing context.

02

Operational density

Cards and tables show enough detail for repeated seller work while avoiding a decorative SaaS landing-page feel.

03

Cloud data boundaries

Supabase Row Level Security keeps seller data scoped to the right account while backend workflows protect critical operations.

04

Mobile stock moments

QR scanning and stock activity screens are optimized for handheld usage near packing and inventory tasks.

Impact

Outcome

Sello turns fragmented seller operations into one product direction: pricing decisions, stock health, purchase planning, cash movement, budgets, and reports can be managed from a single workspace.

What I Learned

Reflection

Seller tools feel strongest when pricing, stock, and finance are connected around the operator's real daily decisions, not treated as separate dashboards.
